All our Hosted and onsite PBX systems support softphones:

Softphones are programs that run on computers (PCs or Macs) or Smartphones (Android or iPhone) and enable users to make and receive calls.

Voicelinx and Phones Correct will provide you with the connection details for any softphones you wish to use.

It should be noted that the quality of the call whilst using the softphone will depend on the quality of the network connection. It is recommended that calls are made and received over wifi or wired broadband connections as 3G mobile signal may be patchy.

Setting up Zoiper for Android
 


1. Download Zoiper from Google Play

The Zoiper app will download and install on your device



2. Open Zoiper and tap on Configuration

located in your applications folder or main screen



3. Select Add Account

select add account



4. Select SIP Account

Type an account name
Host = example.voicelinx.com
Username = example-101
Password = exampleltd



5. Click Save

Click the save button at the bottom



6. Make a call

Click on the dialer and start talking!


Setting up Zoiper on iOS
 


1. Download Zoiper from the App Store





2. Open Zoiper and tap on Settings





3. Select Add Account

select add account and click the + sign



4. Select SIP Account

Account name = as you prefer
Domain = example.voicelinx.com
Username = example-101
Password = exampleltd
Caller ID = 101
Auth Username = example-101



5. Click Save





6. Make a call




 

Case Studies

When Tough Mudder set up the London office, Voicelinx deployed a fully functioning phone system including voicemail to e-mail and conferencing within a day of Internet becoming available. We have 31 extensions in our London office. One of the major benefits of using Voicelinx is their personal attention and in depth knowledge this led to us installing a Polycom IP7000 conference phone which allows us to join skype calls into our regular conference calls.
